The answers you provide on this application will help us to find the best possible match between you and the dogs available. Please understand that after 30 days, if your dog is not a good match, it will be necessary to find it a new home from your home. There is no refund of adoption fee, though if you wish, we will do our best to find a different dog for you at no additional fee.

Transfer of Ownership and Release of Liability

I hereby acknowledge that I have voluntarily chosen to adopt a dog from Australian Shepherd and Border Collie Rescue of Northern Nevada (ABC Rescue). I am aware that there are inherent risks and costs associated with dog ownership. By adopting a dog, I am assuming full ownership rights and responsibilities. I have been advised that this dog, to the best of our knowledge at ABC Rescue, is currently in good health.

I acknowledge that I am releasing Australian Shepherd and Border Collie Rescue of Northern Nevada and/or Kathy or Mike Givens from any and all liabilities and responsibilities associated with this dog.

Adopter agrees ABC Rescue may at any time, at its sole option, elect to re-assert ownership of the dog in the event ABC Rescue determines the potential for inhumane treatment, unsuitable circumstances or breach of this Adoption Agreement.
