Sweet Hope has but two wishes...something to herd and someone to love. She has been quick to attach herself to a member of our rescue and would spend as much time as possible giving and receiving love and kind looks...in between doing her best to keep order in a household busy with other dogs. Her herding instincts are strong and she would love to help you keep "all your ducks in a row." She has shown some obedience abilities and was a joy to meet and photograph. This deserving girl has lost some of her coat after giving birth before she came to us, but Hope is looking better every week, just with the good food her body needed. You can see she has lost teeth, probably the result of a losing battle with chain link.
This is who Hope is today and we would love to see her thriving after a few months of love and care in your forever home. Her ears askew while she concentrates and looks for some fun, tell the story of this good natured, fun loving dog.
Meet Shasta, a 45 lb, 9 yr old, spayed, sable Australian Shepherd. She is a dominate female who is very protective of her home and property. She tolerates submissive dogs and plays with smaller dogs. She is well mannered for her owner. She is house and crate trained, loves to ride in the car and loves toys. No cats for this girl. She is very loyal and loving but will only do good in a home with a dog savvy owner.

Jack is a high-energy border collie cross, probably of working stock as he knows what to do around cows. He's also a friendly family dog but would be best with children 12 and older as he has a tendency to play-nip. He's about a year old, picked up as a stray, so may have fallen off a ranch truck passing through. He needs a lot of exercise and a job to do. He's smart and quick and would probably enjoy agility or other dog sports if he didn't have animals to work.
This good looking B.C./Kelpie mix is a real ranch dog who can herd cattle.
