Our rescue efforts are dedicated to Australian Shepherds and Border Collies.
These herding dogs are adorable puppies and often misunderstood adults. These
intelligent dogs are bred to problem solve. They require some sort of job or
mental stimulation. Lack of breed knowledge lands several in shelters daily.
Many shelters must euthanize good dogs to make room for the many strays and dogs
surrendered by their owners. Our primary service area includes northern Nevada
and the Sierra Foothills of California.
|
Please consider one of the available
rescued dogs from various shelters that are currently in foster care awaiting permanent, loving homes.
They have all passed temperament tests and have been fully vet checked.
You may submit an online application or download
an application to adopt a rescued dog.

Thank You, Sugar!

We are proud to thank our award winning herding instructor for her expertise, kindness, and patience in both teaching
our staff and the many rescues we parade through there the fine art of herding, both from horseback and on foot.
Many of our rescues have gone on to be champions because of her.
From the euthanasia kennels to the show ring!
Thank you Sugar and Steve Pomeroy for the use of your facility and your dedication to the sport!

~~ URGENT ~~
Many wonderful dogs and puppies are being euthanized in shelters due to overcrowding. These poor guys
just need a place to hang for a few weeks.
Please consider being a foster home and being part of the solution!
People's lack of compassion has caused
them to face certain death. It's senseless when a great forever home is just around the corner!
